There are several rolling tool bags and tool chests available in the market today. I guess most first time buyers would probably be anxious or could be confused which rolling tool bag to buy for themselves or as a gift for their loved ones at home.
The MacGuire-Nicholas has a good reputation in manufacturing not only good rolling tool bags but also a variety of household items such as suspenders, accessory bags, utility tool belts for electricians and maintenance crew, electrician tool pouch, belts, tool bags and others.
They are simply one of the best names to look at when choosing good quality utility accessories. I have to remind you though, that rolling tool bags aren’t strict to just carrying utility tools. It can be used by college students in carrying their school supplies and things to their dorm rooms. These bags are made to withstand “torture” and everyday wear and tear due to heavy loading.
We’re looking at one particular tool bag in their list of construction and utility accessories that is – the McGuire-Nicholas 22320W 20 inch Rolling tool bag. You can’t go wrong with its wide 20-inch length dimension to organize your tools like hammers, drills, screw drivers or personal things like clothes, shoes, books and picture frames. The possibilities are literally endless when you think of it. If you’re planning to carry or transfer your things from one place to the other, rolling tool bags are a great companion because of their wheels (mobility).
The McGuire-Nicholas rolling tool bag has good array of specifications like double zipper closure for the bag’s opening, heavy duty wheels that is built to withstand rough terrain (ideal for construction sites), durable 4-stage telescopic handles which is great since several people using this bag will vary in height and of course, last but not the least this tool bag has great interior and exterior pockets to accommodate your tools and accessories securely.
Additionally, this rolling tool bag can be rolled normally using the telescopic handle or the user has an option to use the adjustable shoulder strap to carry it with ease. However, I don’t recommend carrying the tool bag via shoulder strap while carrying heavy load, first because it might cause you shoulder injury and second, these bags were built to move on wheels so why not take advantage of it. The material used to construct this bag is great and can withstand punishment from normal wear and tear as well as extreme weather conditions. Now, you don’t need to worry if you go from different state with varying climate conditions. Your tools will be in pristine state while in this bag.
There were minor complaints on the bag such as the size of its wheels which could have been made larger. The telescopic handles may not be effective in “locking” into place and hold it. In effect, it may collapse in the process. Lastly, most people found the zipper a little annoying and hard to unzip unlike other tool bags with nylon zipper material.
All in all, the material used in constructing the bag is really impressive and with a price tag of just $30 this bag is a good buy. Extreme heavy loading might not be ideal for this bag but school supplies, carpenter tools, electrician tool sets and others won’t be a problem.
